Together with our partner Durex by Reckitt, we participated in the annual Pride Parade in Cologne. With a colorfully decorated truck, DocMorris was part of the vibrant demonstration to set a strong example for diversity and inclusion.

Ten team members, acting as our ambassadors, experienced the parade firsthand on our truck. The selection of those winners was through an internal process where all employees could submit statements on DEI&B (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging), and the ten most liked entries won a ticket for the weekend at CSD in Cologne. Before the official parade, all participants got to know each other better at the Durex by Reckitt pre-event, kicking off their two-day trip together.

Our ambassadors shared their personal experiences:

Tobias: “With great music, diverse and colorful spectators, and wonderful weather, it was simply a magical experience with the best atmosphere.”

Katharina: “It was especially nice to get to know new colleagues from different departments better and share this unique experience. This shared joy and sense of community will never be forgotten.”

Christian: “It was a fantastic day and wonderful to see so many people peacefully demonstrating together.”

Nina: “It is important for companies to take a clear stance, not just participate, but actively strive to shape and live change.”

Michaela: “It was a great weekend, and I was most surprised by the incredible atmosphere and community spirit.”

Melanie: “During the parade, there came a point when emotions were overwhelming, reminding me how beautiful life is when you can be exactly who you are.”

Sarah: “The feeling of being part of a large, supportive community was overwhelming and filled me with pride.”

Jasmine: “A huge safe space for everyone from the community and those who want to support them!”

Nadja: “The mood within the group was very fun and open, whether eating, drinking, getting ready (of course with lots of glitter!), or celebrating – we always had something to laugh about.”
