The journey of every prescription submitted to DocMorris begins immediately in the order management department, where a thorough check is carried out by experienced professionals. Sandra is one of our qualified PTAs who has been with us for nine years. Today she gives us an exclusive insight into her varied day-to-day work as an employee in the prescription verification department. With great commitment and precision, the team checks thousands of prescriptions from all over Germany every day. In doing so, the department lays the foundation for compliance with DocMorris quality standards and ensures the safe supply of medicines to our customers.
Everyday life in the order management department is extremely varied. First and foremost is the meticulous checking of all prescriptions and every single order. Thanks to DocMorris' broad customer base, the work is always exciting. Even experienced PTAs like Sandra are constantly learning about new medicines: "I'm always happy when I can find a suitable product or medicine for our customers through my research," she says enthusiastically. In addition to meticulously checking for authenticity and validity, communication with doctors' surgeries and patients is also part of our PTAs' day-to-day work. They clarify incomplete orders on the phone and find a satisfactory solution to open questions.
"My work is varied and pharmaceutically challenging," says Sandra. As a PTA, there are numerous opportunities for professional and career development in this professional environment. What makes it special is not only the pharmaceutical challenge, but also the corporate culture. At DocMorris, there is no rigid hierarchical divide, but rather work at eye level and a collegial atmosphere. In addition, the Dutch location in Heerlen on the border with Germany offers financial benefits, including a company pension scheme, reimbursement of travel expenses, free further training and tax-free additional benefits such as a discount on bicycles, as well as an ergonomic workplace and team events. With a wink, Sandra adds: "We also celebrate here - especially at our annual summer party with a DJ and food trucks!"
At the heart of their work, however, is the close cohesion within the team and with the employees. Both direct colleagues as well as superiors and pharmacists form a supportive community. The working atmosphere is characterized by appreciation and communication at eye level. It's "just the people" that Sandra wouldn't want to do without and that make DocMorris so unique.
Sandra really appreciates her work and finds it extremely rewarding. If you would also like an interesting job in pharmacy, she could soon become your colleague. We are looking for committed PTAs who can make a significant contribution to the safe medication supply for our customers.
