Reiner Kern takes over Communications and Public Affairs at DocMorris

From 1 November 2023, Dr. Reiner Kern will be Director Communications and Public Affairs at DocMorris. In the newly created position, he is responsible for external and internal communications as well as political communications for the entire company. He reports to the CEO of DocMorris AG, Walter Hess.

Kern was head of communications at ABDA – Bundesvereinigung deutscher Apothekerverbände (Federal Association of German Pharmacists) – for eight years. Before that, the 57-year-old was head of the press and public relations department of the Kassenzahnärztliche Bundesvereinigung (KZBV) for ten years. He holds a doctorate in political science and was the office manager of a member of the Bundestag for eight years.
